Description

The CZ 805 BREN modular assault rifle family is basically CZ’s version of the highly successful FN SCAR. However its modular design allows the user to alternate between the two standard NATO calibers of 5.56×45mm and 7.62×39mm, with the simple change of the barrel, breech block, gas tubes, magazine bay and box magazine.

The A2 is classed as the carbine configuration, with a shorter barrel and as standard it is chambered for the smaller 5.56×45mm NATO cartridge.

The CZ 805 BREN is now in service with the Czech, Slovak and Egyptian armed forces, Indonesian special forces, French GIGN and the Mexican police. It is also used by countless close protection/private security contractors globally.
