Colt Agent Model 38

Description

The original Colt Agent was produced from 1955 to 1979 and was essentially a modified version of the popular Colt Cobra.

Like the Cobra, the Agent was incredibly popular with law enforcement officers. Particularly those in undercover, plain clothed or special agent roles due to its smaller grip, which made it easier to conceal.

In 1982, after a 3 year break in the Agent’s production, Colt released an newly updated design, which unfortunately would only last 4 years, when in 1986, Colt ceased all further production. Likely due to the trend of officers switching semi-automatic/higher capacity compact models.
