An original German WW2 MG Zieleinrichtung 40 (MG Z) Optical Sight with Carrying Box
The WWII German MGZ34 Optical Sight intended for use on a tripod with the MG34 and later the MG42. Rare fully functional model complete with carrying case, light cable and battery box.

Optical Sight: Manufactured by J.D. Moeller, Serial No. 3275. In complete condition with original dark green paint finish and includes the Rubber eye cup. All adjustment controls are in excellent working order. Optics are clear, technically and optically in good condition.
Carrying Box: All internal wood/felted component fittings and webbed button clasps are present with sun filters in yellow and amber colours stored. External webbed belt loops are in excellent condition. The leather ‘Pull Tab’ container. Metal box has 90% Dark Green paint finish on the outer and 85% original finish on all interior surfaces.
Light Cable and Battery Box: Used alongside the Optic, in excellent condition.
